SLEEP AMERICA ANNOUNCES INAUGURAL ADOPT-A-SHEEP PROMOTION

BENEFITING CHILDRENS MIRACLE NETWORK

Phoenix, AZ. (Tuesday, July 22nd, 2008) —Sleep America is proud to partner with Serta for their Inaugural Adopt-A-Sheep promotion benefiting hospitals through Children’s Miracle Network in Arizona, specifically, Phoenix Children’s Hospital and Tucson Medical Center. The event kick off took place on Wednesday, July 9th at the Phoenix Children’s Hospital and Thursday, July 10th at the Tucson Medical Center to unveil the limited edition (1/16) sheep, the newest edition to the Serta counting sheep family. Sleep America President, Debbie Gaby was in attendance with the Serta mascot to take pictures with the children after an afternoon reading.

Gaby said, “I love these Serta counting sheep, but I love them even more knowing that every one we adopt out of our stores, directly benefits the children in our hospitals!”

The In-store promotion will officially start Friday, August 1st through Tuesday, September 30th, 2008. During this period, Sleep America will be adopting out Serta Counting Sheep, just like the ones you’ve seen on TV, for a minimum $10 donation, 100% will go directly to support hospitals through Children’s Miracle Network.

“It is Serta's honor and privilege to partner with Sleep America on this important and worthwhile event.  It's not often that we get a chance to make a child's life more bearable and provide a little more happiness in their lives, while they are going through the toughest of times.  The funds that will be raised by the 'Adopt A Sheep for Children' Event will hopefully help relieve some of the financial burden the families of these precious children have to bear,” said Steve Feldman Arizona Serta Sales Rep.

Susan O’Donnell, Children's Miracle Network Coordinator at Phoenix Children's Hospital said, “This is such a great promotion. Not only are the sheep adorable, but the proceeds will benefit some of Arizona's youngest patients. We are extremely grateful to Sleep America for thinking of us and for creating this amazing opportunity.”

Erika Grasse, Director, Children's Miracle Network at Tucson Medical Center said, “We are extremely grateful for the new partnership with Sleep America and Serta for this amazing promotion to help provide funds for lifesaving equipment and therapeutic programs for children in Southern Arizona.”
